In the Euro 2024 qualifiers, where Portugal beat Iceland 1-0, leader Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to play 200 times for his country. This was a record.
In the 89th minute, near the end of the game, the 38-year-old player made the goal that gave Portugal the win.
